I went to the Laundry Cafe in Busselton with my family when I was down south this weekend, and it was pretty excellent. I don’t post food or restaurant reviews ever really, so this isn’t one, but it was a good enough meal to make me want to share. You should go!
Duck liver parfait with onion jam
Tempura tofu
King prawns with fennel salad
Chorizo with octopus and squid ink
Lamb shoulder and potato
Pork hock and papaya salad
I have no idea what the individual dishes cost as the restaurant website is down, but it was about $200 all up for four people, including two cocktails and a bottle of wine. Pretty good considering the quality of the food and service! It’s all share food and this fed us fairly well, though my sister and I probably (definitely) could have fit in the duck pancakes or a dessert. Book if you’re there on a weekend night – we only managed a 6pm booking and by the time we left it was full.
